In a hamlet in North Creuse, a charming cottage, facing South-East, attached at the back to another building (not overviewed), with land on on side and in front of it.

The accomodation is composed, on groundfloor, of a 30 m2 lounge, with a fireplace and wood burner, 2 small bedrooms (7.5 and 8  m2) a kitchen to finish, and a bathroom with wc.
Upstairs, a large room divided in two (about 38 m2), one could make a large bedroom.
A lot of work has already been done, but it now needs finishing. The windowns and doors are in wood, and single glazed. The roof is in good condition, but the one over the kitchen/bathroom may contain asbestos. Which is not a problem as long as it is in good condition.
Some slates have slipped from the barn’s roof, but nothing too serious.
The heating is with the burner and electric heaters
The house has a septic tank, which conformed when bought in 2009. It hasn’t been re checked yet.
The location is quiet. Genouillac and its amenities and facilieties is 8 km away. Sainte Sévère sur Indre, a lovely medieval town, is 13 mn drive, and La Chatre, a charming and bigger market town, with lots of shops   is 20 mn drive.
